Jaime Soltero Sanchez and his wife, Francisca Garzon started La Costita in 1992. Talavera tiling and terracotta pots with long stemmed plants draped in multiple archways decorated the original restaurant. Mouth watering aromas of arroz con pollo, fajitas and burritos filled the conventional cocina.
